Adam Michael Palmer, 41, of Akron Ohio, passed away on Saturday March 16th after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Adam Palmer was born on September 8th, 1982, to Harold and Dawn Palmer in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. After graduating from Mt. View High school in 2000, Adam went on to study music production at The New England School of Communications in Bangor. After graduating with an associate degree, Adam moved to Rhode Island.
In 2015, Adam met Melissa Hopkins. They relocated together to Akron, Ohio where they built a life together. Adam worked as the banquet and event manager at The Tangier Banquets and Catering, a job he was known to love and enjoy. Adam had a deep love and appreciation for music, spending time attending concerts and playing guitar.
Adam was strong-willed, opinionated and outspoken. He had a big heart and a very odd but beautiful sense of humor. He was someone who was relied upon as a husband, best friend, father/stepfather, brother, and son. He was dedicated to every role he played.
Adam was predeceased by his mother Dawn and brother Corey. Adam is survived by his father Harold, son Gavin, wife Melissa, and stepchildren Margaret, Landon, and Jack.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, March 25th from 5 to 8pm at The Tangier at 507 South Cleveland Massillon Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to a research fund of your choice studying pancreatic cancer so another family can be saved from such heart ache.
