Allen M. Grace, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 59. He was born on September 22, 1964, in Akron, OH, and had been a lifelong resident of both Akron and Ravenna.
Allen had a zest for life and a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, and shooting guns. El jalapeños Mexican restaurant held a special place in his heart as it served his favorite foods and strong Margaritas. However, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family vacations and traveling were cherished moments for him.
North Carolina and Virginia Beach were some of Allen's favorite places in the world, where he found solace and joy. In his leisure time, he could often be found watching the Discovery Channel, expanding his knowledge and curiosity for Aliens and Big Foot.
Allen was married to his loving wife, Vicki, and they shared many wonderful years together. He was a devoted father to his children: Daniel Grace (Paige), Wendy (Josh), Amanda, and Andrew (Becky). His grandchildren, Brayliegh, Donnie, Cheyenne, Bryce, Conner, Sarah, Michael, and great-grandchildren, Malena and Slim (aka Squishy), brought immense happiness to his life.
Allen will be deeply missed by his mother, Donna Sullivan, his sister Debbie (Ron), and his sister-in-law Beth. He also leaves behind his niece Tiffany, nephew Jeremy, and many other close family members friends, and neighbors.
Those who knew Allen will remember him for his humor, sarcasm, and caring nature. He had a unique ability to bring laughter to any situation. He was known as the patriarch of his family, always providing support and love. Additionally, Allen was reliable when it came to fixing a flat tire, demonstrating his practicality and resourcefulness.
The impact Allen had on the lives of others cannot be overstated. He touched the hearts of many and will be remembered for his unwavering love, laughter, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Per Allens wishes the family will not be holding a memorial service . The family thanks and loves all of you!
