David Rice

David Oscar Rice, 63, passed away on Wednesday July 31, 2024 surrounded by family, following a ten month battle with cancer. David was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on August 18, 1960 to Oscar and Joann (Wagner) Rice. He graduated from Maple Wood Career Center in Streetsboro, Ohio in 1979. David spent his free time repairing cars, watching Cleveland sports, and enjoying bonfires. He took pride in his 43 years invested at API, formerly known as Hopkins & Kipp.

David is survived by his mother, his four children Kimberly, Holland (Rob), Jessica, David Jr (Keshia), his grandchildren Haley, Donovan, Aiden, RayJean, David III, Willow, his great-granddaughter Elena, his brother Tom (Tina), his two nieces and their families, and his lifelong best friend Jim (Kim) Tekavec. Preceded in death by his father and his favorite uncle Leroy.

Cremation will take place following private family services.
