Donald Andrews

Donald "Don" Edward Andrews, 65, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer on January 11, 2025 in Akron, Ohio.

Don was born October 29, 1959 in Akron, Ohio to Donald Orville Andrews and Patricia Mae Andrews (née Folk). A lifelong resident of Akron, Don will be remembered fondly as a loving father and grandfather, a skilled handyman, and the life of the party with a love of animals. Don had a special talent for telling stories and making everyone around him laugh and smile.

Don is preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Valerie Andrews (née Cozad) and sister Connie Steinman (née Andrews). He is survived by his daughter Brooke Petty (née Andrews) and son Donald Andrews, grandchildren Aaron Andrews, Elizabeth Andrews, Noah Andrews, and Matthew Petty, and siblings Donna Steed (née Andrews) and Raymond Andrews, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Don's wishes, a private cremation and celebration of life will be held.
