Glenn Messer

Glenn Newell Messer Sr (Chubby) 62 of Massillon, formally from Cuyahoga Falls, peacefully passed away June 29th,2024 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Glenn retired after 22 years of service at Howmet aerospace, formally Alcoa, He was dedicated to his wife and family. He loved drag car racing and Nascar races. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved listening to Pink Floyd and attending concerts. Glenn's dream came true owning his 1957 Chevy and going for cruises in it. In addition to his parents, Glenn was proceeded in death by his son Glenn Messer Jr.

Glenn is survived by his wife Lana Tercho Messer of 25 Years. Daughters Melissa Morgan, Brittany Messer and Bethany Messer. Stepchildren Joey Kruger, Alyshia Keith (Dan), Brandon Leyda and Cory Leyda. Sisters Barb Hilton (Wayne), Sandy Richards-Redd, Tracy Richards- Cuffe (Pat), Brother James Messer, and Stepmom Roberta Messer.10 Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.

Glenn will be sadly missed by all that knew him. His jokes and memories will carry on forever. Glenn celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
