He loved his wife Nancy of 61 years, he loved each and everyone of his children. He loved his entire extended family. And he loved his neighbors and he proved it by regularly endeavoring to share the good news found in God's Word the Bible with them.
Wayne was a successful businessman starting Van's Tire by selling tires out of a van back in the 1970s. He passed down a good work ethic to his children and set a good example by doing his best to have fair and honest business practices.
He enjoyed being a family man. His favorite things to do were anything that included his kids and grandkids such as horseback riding, four wheeler riding or charter fishing. He also really enjoyed traveling with Nancy and the family, having a special fondness for the beach.
