Lydia Gergosky

Lydia J. Lewis/Gergosky, age 64, passed passed away on February 6, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She lived in Akron most of her life.

Everyone has that family member or friend you think about and always smile. Lydia was that person. She was the best mother to her dog Snuggles. If you were a friend she had your back. She was a sensitive and caring person, but hid that behind a wall of cracking jokes and offbeat comments. She loved a good sale and potluck dinners. She especially loved her family and friends. Our world is going to be so much sadder without her in it. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by father Ronald, mother Delores and brother Jeff. Lydia is survived by brothers Keith (Lisa) Treen, Ron Lewis Jr., and sisters Linda (Mike) Cradlebaugh, Carol (Don) Bunner, Sue (Mike) Lutz, Sherry (Tam) Taylor, Tracy Lewis and Tammy (Brian Auletta) Lewis.

Lydia requested a Celebration of Life Memorial when the weather warms up. (That was Lydia, always thinking of others). Date and time will be announced later.
