Marjorie Ann (Roselle) Joyner, born on January 25th, 1935 in Tyrone, PA to Anthony & Cecilia Roselle, passed away on January 29th. 2025 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Joyner, her son Donnie Joyner, son-in-law Don Wallace.
She is survived by her children, James "Jimmy" Joyner (daughter-in-law Diana), Anthony "Tony" Joyner, Kathy Young (Joyner; son-in-law, Larry), Christina Wallace (Joyner), & Guy Joyner (daughter-in-law Stephanie), in addition to 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom loved Grandma Margie as dearly as she loved them. Margie is also survived by dear friends Michael Schember and Joe Yost.
Margie loved Cherry Coke, playing bingo, and making trips to the casino, but her greatest joy was to make others happy - something she did effortlessly. Margie also loved to cook and sing. Her greatest gift was to Love Unconditionally. Margie was highly proficient at cursing, proudly earning the nickname "Truck Driver Margie" We are so grateful for your unselfish love you brought to our life.Mom you have given us all so many wonderful memories to carry in our heart. We were so blessed to have you as our Mom. You gave us the best things in life! Your Love, your time and all the life lessons you taught us. "Supermom"- Six kids all involved in athletics, after school activities and clubs You never missed. We all knew you were there in the stands supporting us because you were always the loudest parent! We can laugh about it now! It must have been your cheerleader background from high school. Mom, your love and spirit will forever be remembered. Especially your unwavering Love for Elvis!
She and her husband, Tommy, co-owned Tom-Mar Golf, where they sold golf equipment and golf balls. Tommy pioneered the practice of diving for golf balls at local courses and reselling them throughout the country. They were in the golf business for over 50 years,
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff at St. Luke's Lutheran Community as well as SouthernCare Hospice, who cared for Margie in the last days of her life. Providing comfort and compassion focusing on dignity and quality of Life! There will be no calling hours; the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Margie's final resting spot will be with her Husband Tom at the Rittman Military cemetery.
