Mitchel Bailey

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mitchel J Bailey. Mitch passed on February 3, 2025. Mitch also know as Jody to many, was 54 years of age. He was born in Ravenna, Ohio on December 29, 1970 to Philip and Kattie Bailey.

Mitch was a very smart, hard-working man. Although he had endured a lot of struggles through out his life, he always had a great heart. Losing his children was the hardest struggle.

Mitch is preceded in death by his mother Kattie, his father Philip , grandparents Emma and James Kaylor, Goldie Bell and Alfred Bailey,and many aunts and uncles. Most Importantly his two children which he loved very much Tyler McGaha and Katelyn Bailey.

He is survived by his sister, Amanda Lawrence and brother Philip Jr., grandchildren, Jayden and Brielle and many aunts, uncles and cousins . He also leaves a host of friends, especially Collin Beale, and great boss Matt & co-workers at M&G pools.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
