Sherrie Cox

Sherrie left this world unexpectedly while she was on the road to better health just after her successful retirement. She is survived by son Jacob Cox, her sister Nancy Yingling, brother Chad Sandy, and nieces and cousins.

Predeceased by her loving daughter Holly Cox, her sister Debbie Taylor, her brother Jeff Taylor, and her parents David and Dorothy.

Sherrie had a strong faith for God and her Cherokee heritage. She loved plants and flowers (even going by the nickname "Flower" to some close to her) and had a passion for being outdoors and doing yard work. She loved watching football, especially her Browns! She believed in treating others with kindness and always greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. Also she had a huge love for animals and her beloved cat Sprocket who's name came from her love of motorcycles and riding with her long hair blowing in the wind.

Sherrie was a warrior in life, and cared for all in so many ways! From our high school friends to her work family at GoJo, and the countless strangers and people she met along her journey; there was nothing that she wouldn't help with or take her time to make sure everyone was ok.
