Shirley Swafford

Shirley M Swafford passed away February 1, 2025 at the age of 94. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Ruth and Regis O'Neil. She is survived by her children William III (Marchell) Akron, Ohio, Elaine Tompkins (Larry) New Franklin, Ohio, and Michael Akron, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren; sisters JoAnn Baechel, Chris Werny, and son-in-law Erick Hastler. Shirley was preceded in death by husband William O. Jr, sons Charles and Richard, daughter Gail Hastler, baby grandson, and brother Donald Fobes.

When Shirley was younger, she loved cooking, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, and crocheting Afghans and pot holders for her family and friends. She also passed on her many skills to others, sharing her passion for crafting and cooking with her loved ones.

Per Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be any services.
